Melton Truck Lines Celebrates Milestones

INDUSTRY LEADER MARKS 70 YEARS

An industry leader employing more than 1,400 drivers and serving customers from coast to coast, Melton Truck Lines is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year. Now based in Tulsa, OK, but with roots in Crossett, AR, Melton began with just two trucks. Today’s fleet totals more than 1,300 vehicles across the roadways of North America. For more than 20 years, Melton has chosen to purchase its trailers from Utility Trailer Tri-State.

In addition to its seven decades of transportation and hauling services, Melton recently hit another impressive milestone: purchasing its 1,000th trailer from Utility. Scott Stephan, Melton Truck Lines Vice President of Fleet Maintenance explained, “Melton Truck Lines, Inc. requires the lightest and toughest combo trailers on the market to service our customers. Utility has provided this requirement for many years and their trailers continue to hold up to the wear and tear of the flatbed world. We look forward to many more years of our solid partnership.”
