Acquisition improves service presence along Interstate 80

Craftsmen Trailer, LLC recently added a new location by acquiring the Utility dealership located in Davenport, Iowa from Thompson Truck and Trailer.

“We are very excited about this acquisition,” said Lou Helmsing, President of Craftsmen Trailer. “This is our third dealer location. This acquisition expands our ability to serve our customers with improved access to aftermarket parts and service, as well as a larger inventory of both new and used equipment, in Eastern Iowa and North- Central Illinois. The new location is ideally situated just off Interstate 80, so it’s very accessible,” added Helmsing.

Founded in 1982 in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri, Craftsmen is a regional full service Utility dealership with 3 locations: St. Louis, Missouri, Sikeston, Missouri and Davenport, Iowa.
