Utility’s Paragould, Arkansas Plant Builds its 200,000th Dry Van

Utility’s Paragould, Arkansas manufacturing plant recently achieved a new milestone in its history, building its 200,000th dry freight trailer. This landmark trailer is going to Target, who has been a Utility customer since 2012. This accomplishment reflects the pride that the 715 people at Paragould take in building the remarkable 4000D-X Composite® dry van.

“It has been an honor for me to have been associated with the men and women of the Paragould Plant since day one,” said David Neighbors, former Paragould Plant Manager, who retired at the end of 2021. “The 200,000th unit produced here represents a major milestone for Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, and I know the entire team, including the new Plant Manager John Oliver, looks forward to the next 200,000!” “I am very proud to have been a part of this great achievement,” added John Oliver. “Thanks to Target for their business. They value the side wall design of our 4000D-X Composite, especially its 80K flush steel logistics posts, and they appreciate the added aerodynamic benefits of our side skirts. I look forward to the many great achievements we have ahead of us.”

“Congratulations to every person at Paragould,” said Steve Bennett, Vice President for Utility Trailer Manufacturing, Co. “They have an ongoing track record of excellence. And their commitment to building trailers of the highest quality is why customers such as Target keep coming back, and that is why the 4000D-X Composite continues to be the fastest selling trailer in our history.”
