2014 International Sales Meeting

Held in Ontario, California on November 12th – 14th

Over 185 dealers and sales associates attended the three-day meeting consisting of product sessions, a centennial celebration, a vendor fair that included 42 exhibitors, and a rare opportunity to tour Utility’s exclusive Research & Development facility.

Guests were also treated to a special keynote speaker – Bob Schoultz, a former US Navy SEAL Captain who currently is an inspirational speaker, consultant, and coach. Schoultz served numerous extended tours overseas in a wide variety of different commands. His last title was “Director of Leader and Character Development” at the US Naval Academy. Schoultz shared his personal stories of challenges that included the rigorous training required to complete the Navy SEAL program. His inspirational speech gave attendees a new perspective on the mindset of leadership and character.

As the 100th anniversary Legacy Museum Trailer ended its North American tour, attendees were able to experience it during the sales meeting before it returns to its home at Utility’s corporate office. The event also included Utility’s Centennial Celebration dinner, and guests spent the evening trying their hand with lady luck as the hotel lobby turned into a Vegas-style casino.

Utility’s International Sales Meeting provides dealer sales representatives valuable information and insights on Utility’s three main product lines to take back to the field. One of the biggest highlights during the meeting was the tour of the R&D facility. “Giving our sales reps the opportunity to learn first-hand the rigorous testing we perform and see our torture test track in action provides them with a better understanding of what makes our trailers the most durable, strongest and lightest weight trailers,” said Jeff Bennett, Vice President of Engineering and Product Development for Utility.

The meeting ended with a general session given by the Bennetts, presenting the company’s core values and goals before closing out the yearlong centennial celebration.

Utility thanks all who attended, and making it another successful event.
