Utility Trailers Sales Southeast Texas Opens New Facility in Eagle Pass

Dual-use facility is located near Rio Grande border

A unique “dual-use” dealer facility, located in Eagle Pass, Texas recently opened for business. What makes it different is that this innovative facility is shared by both Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co. and Utility Trailer Sales Southeast Texas. The new Eagle Pass dealer facility borders the Rio Grande River and neighboring Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, where Utility opened a refrigerated van manufacturing facility.

The new 40-acre location has approximately 28 acres of space available for trailer parking, with the capacity to accommodate several hundred trailers. “This strategic location is an ideal setting for us to store new trailers and get them ready for pick-up,” said Steve Bennett, Vice President of Utility Trailer Manufacturing Co.

In the near future Eagle Pass will become a center for transportation, receiving  and  accounting  management. It will also serve as the receiving point for customer-furnished materials, and other production materials.”

The 51,000-square-foot facility also houses offices, a parts showroom, a warehouse and service department for Utility Trailer Sales of Southeast Texas. “This completed development is an ideal location for our dealer operations,” said Jonny Loring, Jr., President of Utility Trailer Sales Southeast Texas. “It’s proximity to the Mexican border enables us to better serve our growing customer base in the Texas marketplace. We’re very pleased that it will also provide support for Utility Trailer Manufacturing’s plant operations in Piedras Negras.”

The new full-service dealership is home to 20 full-service bays and is equipped with four sets of crane/hoist systems—two at the front line of the shop and two at the rear line. “We are proud to have opened a facility that optimizes service for our local customers,” added Mr. Loring. “Our Eagle Pass dealership will also offer a host of services to other Utility dealers and customers, including Carrier installations, lift gates, decals, and tracking devices.”

The Grand Opening and ribbon cutting happened on April 10th, 2019. For more information about Utility Trailer Sales Southeast Texas, visit them online at: www.UtilityTrailers.com.
