Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company is a proud supporter of Truckers Against Trafficking

Support for TAT

Utility is a proud supporter of Truckers Against Trafficking’s (TAT) new Freedom Drivers Project, which debuted at the 2014 Great American Trucking Show (GATS).

The Freedom Drivers Project is a mobile exhibit that will be used as a tool to educate members of the trucking industry and the general public about human trafficking in the United States and how the trucking industry is combating this ongoing issue.

The mobile exhibit is equipped with a theater station that plays a short version of the TAT training DVD, articles from trafficking cases, portraits of the real Truckers Against Trafficking and how each is working to end human trafficking, as well as immediate actions individuals can take when leaving the exhibit.

At GATS, Utility’s Craig Bennett, and fellow sponsors of the Freedom Drivers Project were present during the TAT press conference that unveiled the mobile exhibit. “This is an important issue that everyone should be aware of and take necessary actions to stop these terrible crimes that are taking place on our roads and highways,” said Craig Bennett, Utility’s Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing.

TAT will be taking the mobile exhibit to schools, communities and trucking events to help spread the word that human trafficking is still going on today. For more information, visit: www.truckersagainsttrafficking.org.
